Hello! Unfortunately I must be doing something wrong when I install your beautiful wigs. I get to the testing hall and they're in the chest, however when I try them on most of them spaz out and make big black angular things. Some of the white colour work but some of them also crash my game upon selection. Do you have any idea why this might be happening?

the wigs are in a chest in the Testinghall. You get there via console: coc testinghall. Once there, watch out for a row of door with red backlighting. On the end of the row is one door that is only labeled "door to".

Thanks Chakaru. This is a daunting project. Every time I try to learn to do something new in blender, it stresses me out. The manual (and any technical manuals) confuse me really badly. I just can't wrap my head around the wording, so I often end up kind of winging it. I don't want to be a pain, but any tips or more detailed instructions would be great. About porting creatures...

Iam not an expert there - and since I could not find tutorials either, I kind of did the same thing I do when porting clothes: I tried to get the mesh I wanted into a format blender can read - like .obj. Then I looked for an Oblivion vanilla creature that matched the new creature skeleton-wise (in your case the flame atronach from Oblivion maybe?) and used the bone weight copy script in blender XDD

So yeah, my method is not really profound.

Sadly I do not have Morrowind anymore, so I can't take a look at the mesh for you :(

I used a comnination of upper and lower body in the mesh and it works. Download the mesh linked behind my name and have a look at. Your "1001 night"- Outfit can't fix this way cause the legs are clipping. Problem is the same.

@Rowan: This sounds like a problem with the skeleton. Do you have the maximum compatibility skeleton installed? You can find it on the Oblivion Nexus. That usually solves all problems with stretching polygons. I hope that helps, if not we might have to ask jimbo how he solved the problem >_<

The flames are from a very old mod I found, but they are rigged to the lich- creature skeleton. If you use them on an NPC, the game crashes. I have no idea how to change that :(

x117 hair eh?...it's pretty simple.

After you have your wig/hair ready, in Nifskope scale it to 1.17 and then move it on the z axis to ~ -19/-20, apply the changes and that's it

Okay I've seen the issue. I open the NifScope and found the texture path is : texture\jhuku\robe01\uboots.dds

Which means cause the Texture went missing coz I and maybe Ellie dont have it. I have tried to put diffrent textures but no luck so far. Maybe you forgot to put the right Texture Chakaru?

Just a heads-up, I noticed the same material issue on 1001 Nights, but I've corrected it, and all the others people have mentioned here, in the compilation mod. I'm using my Blackscale Kawargonian to make sure the materials are right.

I've had the same issue that Mahtawa had with a few of your armors. I found that I only had to change the texture from skin to material. But then again I haven't had any blue people in party with me.

The ones I've seen act odd where Belphe's Gear and the Death Linger. It was just that the skin looked a little to orange for them. Otherwise the armors are great looking.

There are "not showing various race skin" in its two body parts, which NiTriStrips string names are "Tri leg1" and "Tri leg2".

Hey Chikaru, I really liked your Belphe's travelling Gear, just one thing irked me about them was the boots. So i cracked open Nifskope, and removed the blocks they were in until the model was legless, and I took the boots from Time Traveller Alt and put them under the root scene. Yes, i know, that other users havenot problems with this outfit. It seems i'm unlucky one..
Well, outfit has a such textur's path in nifscope: textures\clothes\00chakaru\belphes travelling gear\. But in your archive textur's path look like this: textures\textures\clothes\00chakaru\belphes travelling gear\. And outfit doesn't show in game (literally - character's body is missing, when i put on this outfit). If i change texture's path, outfit look fine, but character skin is purple like when texture is missing.
I play for custom race, if it important and use hgec replacer.

What? O_o I packaged this outfit with the TES Packaging tool, it sets the texture paths exactely as they should be and no one has ever had problems with the outfit >.< Is it purple ingame or something?

And the skin texture is set to the vanilla imperial texture path, are you using custom skin texture replacers or something?
